An A-Z vocabulary booklet based on the new WJEC Specification Unit 1. This contains specific vocabulary that pupils need to know for the exam, with other relevant key words together with space for pupils to add their own specific content. The majority of pages are dedicated to a letter. were as come letters (Y & Z, for example) share a page. The booklet is 39 pages long, this will allow you to have it printed back to back in magazine form as either an A5 (printed on A4 paper) or A4 booklet (printed on A3 paper).

Forces: Balanced and Unbalanced Force This is a fully resourced lesson introducing pupils to balanced and unbalanced forces. Activities include: Starter Task: A Thinking Skills questions- on movement of objects. Task 1: Pupils are introduced to balanced and unbalanced forces by watching a short YouTube video clip and can make notes on this. Task 2: Pupils then complete an activity on different objects and determine the direction of movement on the object. Task 3: Pupils will swap their books and peer assess their answers. Task 4: Pupils will watch an animation and be asked to take part in a class discussion on this. Task 5: Pupils will be required to complete a flow chart on the animation. This was designed for an inspection lesson, that was rated 'excellent' and was taken by the lead inspector as a sample of hight quality resources and good practice. It contains a selection of quotes for the religions of Judaism and Christianity that can be used during revision, answering mock exam questions or with everyday lessons. Our advice is to printout the three sheets, cut them out, stick pages 3 and 4 together and laminate pages 2 and 3&4 then bind them through the centre with a paper fastening split pin. The wheel should spin freely for you!
