This fact, flip book comes with 2 pages of reading passage for you to use for students if they are unsure of the facts, it comes in two difficulty levels depending on student's individual abilities. Once they have read the passages, they then complete the flip book. This is an interactive book where students can cut, stick and colour/color the different pieces for each page. Guy Fawkes (Bonfire Night) is a celebration that takes place every year on the 5th November in the UK. This is a great way to introduce a British celebration into your classroom with lots of great activities to take part in. There are two options for the cover page; color/colour or black&white. Each page has two options for students to choose the answer from. They cut out the correct answers and stick them onto the page. Put it together and make a flip book!! There are instructions included on the first page of the document There are also small instructions included on the bottom of each of the pages, as well as photos of the finished style on the last page for you to see it finished. This resource works great in both British & American classrooms i.e color/colour.

The images are eye catching and appropriate for young students who will find them engaging.

Guy Fawkes Ten Frame Task Cards, Bonfire Night

This download includes task cards with ten frames 0 - 10. Students have to count how many stars are in the ten frame and then select the correct answer out of 3 choices on the bottom of the task card. Come in color/colour or black and white option. Instructions are included on the first page of PDF file. 2 task cards come on each page. I recommend cutting and laminating each task card individually, by laminating the task cards you will find they are stronger and longer lasting. This means you can use them year in, year out for your students, just pulling them out of the cupboard and you can wipe them clean after your students have finished with them! Great for number/counting practice especially for Guy Fawkes/Bonfire Night.

I blink, wondering if it was a dream. ★ Today, we are going to visit a haunted house. When we open the door we hear rustling and we scream as a bat flies over our heads, out into the dark. We have a look around the house and find a coffin, as we open it, a mummy jumps out of it and chases us! When we stop, it’s my older brother, Jason, teasing us! ★ Me and my friend are going ghost hunting in the woods! The woods are very dark, and lots of the trees have lost all of their leaves so they look bare and scary.
