The flashcards come with numbers/ten frames 1-10 with a matching recording sheet. All flashcards are ready numbered. An answer key is provided on the bottom page of the recording sheet PDF file. Instructions are also included on first pages of each PDF document. This download includes two PDF documents - one for the count the room flashcards and one for the recording sheets. I would highly recommend laminating each of the individual flashcards so that they will be stronger, therefore longer lasting. You can hide these flashcards anywhere you want to get the students active and moving about. This interactive and adapted book is a great way to introduce students to books. The interactive aspect will keep students engaged and focused while reading through this short, adapted book. The book is based on a baby shark going missing. You have to help mommy shark look through parts of the ocean to find him. Instructions • Print pages 3-7 • Cut pages 3-5 in half and laminate. Then bind together as a book. • Pages 6-7 cut out all the pieces individually then laminate. On page 6 there are two seaweed options for you to choose - the large one sits over the entire picture or the two smaller ones can be put together with split pins for students to pull apart. • Staple the bottom of the seaweed on top of daddy shark and the writing, students then lift up the seaweed to reveal daddy shark and the sentence. Or if using the smaller seaweeds, make two small holes on the bottom and split pin the seaweed onto the picture covering the picture of daddy shark and the sentence below. Students then pull them apart to reveal daddy shark and the writing. • The shell goes on UPSIDE DOWN to cover grandma shark and the sentence. Staple the small end of the shell onto the top of grandma shark so that it covers the shark and sentence. Students peel this up to reveal grandma shark. • Staple bottom of rock on top of grandpa shark and sentence. Student peels it back to reveal image and sentence. • The small mouth goes on top of the whale’s actual mouth. You can either velcro this for students to pull off, use a split pin for students to slide it around or staple it for students to lift up. These animal themed adapted books are a great way for students to work on their colour recognition / color recognition skills. These adapted books are also a great way for students to work on their vocabulary, language, recognition and sentence building skills. There are 4 different level sentence building books included for each animal and all vocabulary/images are of different color animals. The levels included are; ♦ Level 1 - One box/symbol for students to fill in - “red” “yellow” “green” etc. ♦ Level 2 - Two boxes/symbols for students to fill in - “red parrot” “yellow parrot” etc ♦ Level 3 - Three boxes/symbols for students to fill in - “parrot is red” “parrot is yellow” etc. ♦ Level 4 - Four boxes/symbols for students to fill in - “the parrot is red” “the parrot is yellow” etc. The vocabulary is suitable for American or British classrooms. (Color, Colour etc.) These books are great to help students build up and work on their sentences. It encourages students to select the correct words(symbols) to match the picture they are looking at as well as being able to place them in the correct order to build an appropriate sentence. Instructions • Print out the level books that you want to use • Levels 1 + 2 - cut the pages into half, laminate them, then put together as a book. • Levels 3 + 4 - laminate the pages, then put together as a book. • Cut out the symbols individually, then laminate. • Put velcro onto the back of each of the symbols and onto the symbol boxes. • The blank board on the last page of each pack is your symbol base board. Laminate this and add velcro. This is where students will store their symbols.
