This PPT introduces pupils to prepositions in French, using Where’s Wally? Pupils must find Wally first. After he’s been found, introduce the preposition. At the end of the presentation, pupils must then match the French preposition to the English.

Introduce pupils to different time phrases that refer to particular tenses (past, present & future), allowing them to show off their knowledge of tenses in a simple way. This wordsearch is designed to be used with a school-sized dictionary. Students look up the English Christmas words at the bottom of the sheet and find the French words in the wordsearch.

A bit like '20 Questions'. This is a list of questions in French that pupils ask to guess the word someone is think of. The person thinking of a word is allowed to answer only 'oui' or 'non'.

Use this PPT to introduce and explain time expressions and their corresponding tenses in French. On each slide, a phrase is given in French and pupils have to identify which tense it’s in. Then, they look at the time phrase and the tense in the sentence. Ideal for looking at translation in exams.

This PPT is on a timer, so pupils must be on their toes! When pupils read a past tense phrase, they must either point backwards or step backwards (depending on the size of the class/classroom!). For the present tense, they either stomp or point down. For the future tense, they must either point in front of them or take a step forwards.
