A vocabulary presentation that introduces and reinforces the meaning and usage of twenty vocabulary words from the story Cliff Hanger by Jean Craighead George as published in Houghton and Mifflin Reading 3.1.
The twenty (20) vocabulary words covered include; avalanche, belay, carabiner, descent, free climb, gear, harness, ledge, rappel, trek, brace, cathedral, climbing nut, foresee, handhold, plunge, registration book, ridge, splats and void.

These uniquely designed Super Scary Writing Sheets are useful all year long and especially for Halloween but they are not for the faint of heart. Like I said, they are super scary.
There are four Halloween themed cover sheets for students to illustrate and a fifth blank cover sheet for students' creativity.
The design of the writing sheets is not quite right but don't take my word for it. Download it and see for yourself. Nonetheless, you have been warned.

Water Cycle Reading Activity Pack is a ten page science themed reading activity focusing on the water cycle; transpiration, evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection.
The first three pages deal with the water cycle as a broad concept without much complexity. They are designed so students can intuit the concepts by matching clues in the diagrams with key words and phrases from the vocabulary and reading sections.
The next five pages deal with each of the stages in the water cycle in a bit more detail and complexity.
