Facts and Fishes resources are linked to the Australian Curriculum and the cross-curricular priority of Sustainability which plays a vital role in this APE. The Facts and Fishes Fact Sheet and Unit of Work has been developed for a Year 7 Science class and is designed to promote critical thinking through scientifically backed research coupled with a variety of classroom activities. The Fact Sheet provides an introduction to the capabilities and sentience of fishes and an exploration of the commercial fishing industry.
