My elementary students love the Knuffle Bunny series, so we decided to use the illustrative technique ourselves.
In this packet you will get directions for the activity and two full-sized playground pictures ready to photocopy in black and white. The students make colorful cartoon characters to put into the setting and tell a story about their illustration.
I've included a scan of the reproducible I purposely drew by hand for the students. This took the fear of drawing out of the activity. Many even came up and added more to the projected copy for the class to see!
Main directions are in PDF and the pictures are in a PowerPoint file.
