Need a system for placing books on hold in your library? These bookworm style forms and notes will help!
Everything comes in Color as well as Black and White reproducible.
Procedure #1: Print and cut up the Hold Slips that come 4 to a page. Pop them in a basket. Provide a second basket for completed slips.
Procedure #2: Use the clipboard formatted full-page Hold List. Place it near the circulation desk or the card catalog. Show students where it is and how to use it.
Once the book on hold is in for the student, you have two choices of notes:
Note #1 - Send a note telling them their hold is ready to PICK UP.
Note #2 - Check out the book(s) to them and attach the note that let’s them know they were waiting on the book. DELIVER to the classroom or teacher’s mailbox.
