Story Map - Students use words and/or pictures to fill in the characters, setting, problem, and solution of the story.
Five writing pages. Students can choose the one they wish to write their New Year’s Resolution on. There is room to draw a picture of them following through on their resolution.
My New Year activity page allows students to brainstorm things they want to do, read, and learn in the New Year. After they brainstorm, there is a place for them to formulate their New Year’s Resolution.

They fill in the movie title and write a short review that includes the characters and the plot - without giving away the ending! They must also convince the audience whether they should go see it or not by giving a specific example to support their opinion.
