Breaks events down into Boys & Girls - provides results in a bar chart ‘live’ as the events unfold and generates an overall ‘house’ score. Made this lesson before the referendum - have used it a number of times since, it works incredibly well - including once as an observation lesson which received great feedback. Differentiated tasks throughout with there being three options for the main activity for three different grouped levels. Ends with a class vote. A stand alone lesson or a great introduction to a variety of topics - using Fortnite trackers as a (worryingly successful) hook. Includes: Business Studies: Mini-Business Case study of Epic Games and it’s unique business model + comparisons to others ICT: Excel formulas, SUM, AVERAGE, adding charts, calculating % increases and using conditional formatting.
