Happy Mid-Autumn Festival Colouring Worksheet
Suggested use of worksheet:
Students learn about the Mid-Autumn Festival and the legends related to this festival.
Students learn to say ‘Happy Mid-Autumn Festival’ in Chinese.
Students colour in the beautiful Moon Goddess - Chang’e.
Students can then draw the cute Jade Rabbit to keep the Moon Goddess accompany. (Note: For younger children, teachers might need to demonstrate drawing a bunny on the board. Students can draw on their worksheet along with the teacher. This can be an optional activity for young learners.)

Suggested use of worksheet:
Students learn to write five core words closely related to Mid-Autumn festival and develop a growing awareness of different components of Chinese characters.
Students can colour in the bubble characters, read the facts to expand their knowledge of each character and use a lead or colour pencil to trace the characters twice before writing them down twice independently. Students then can draw a picture to demonstrate their understanding of this word.
