1. Weather Worksheet_Word Search & Word Scramble (Vocabulary Drill)
2. Weather Exercise Worksheet (Consolidate students’ knowledge of learned vocabulary & further develop students’ understanding of radicals)
3. Puzzle Worksheet (Two characters are included-雷&晴.
These two characters have been divided into 9 parts, and they are placed in mixed order.
Students need to cut out the given 9 parts and sort out their order to get the right character.
Give a small prize (lollies or stickers) to the first three/five students who solve the puzzle.
Once they’ve solved the puzzle, they can have the 9 parts glue in the provided empty 9-box grid.
Ask students to colour in the radical if worksheets are printed out on white paper. )

Overview
Check out this collection of creative and fun paper cutting activity! TEN original templates specially designed for 2022, the Year of Tiger. This collection purposefully includes three Chinese characters that are related to the celebration of the Year of Tiger, 寅(yín), 吉(jí) and 春(chūn). Through this activity, children are afforded with opportunities to learn about this Chinese folk art, explore different cultural elements and look at Chinese characters from a fun perspective.
Students’ complete work also makes fantastic bulletin board display! Kids love seeing their work up on the wall, especially as part of the Spring Festival celebration!
Highlights
Creative Design
Chinese characters and cultural elements are meaningfully integrated. Explicit instructions and sample work are available on each template. Easy to follow and cut with no less fun.
Two Versions
Two versions are included in the file, coloured and uncoloured. Each template in the coloured version contains 2 pages which need to be printed on both sides on white paper, while the uncoloured one can be simply printed out on any colour paper you wish.
Flexible Uses
★Spring Festival celebration & classroom decoration
This collection makes a great in-class activity at the beginning of the new school year as we look to celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival around February. Using students’ completed work to decorate the classroom will certainly give them a real sense of achievement.

Students would enjoy spending time doing some paper cutting and decorating their house (with their parents) at home!
