Inspire your students with this pack of six posters about Martin Luther King Jr., who was a man of great character and an exceptional orator whose words inspired many during his lifetime and continue to be a source of inspiration for us today.
I chose the quotes on these posters because they have the potential to motivate our students to have good character and to do good in the world. As such, they would make a great starting point for a discussion around ways to make the world a better place, small acts of kindness that make a difference, or dreams they might have for their future.
These would look great on a display for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Black History Month, or to display all year round.
What’s included?
One portrait poster
Five posters with quotes
Colour (bright, boho, neutrals, 70s vibe) and ink saver versions (“I have a dream” poster is ink saver only)

The four parts of the craft include:
a portrait to colour
key facts about Martin Luther King, Jr.
achievements
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Three line sizes are provided so you can choose what is best for your students.
There are suggested questions for the students to address, but I’ve included an editable version so you can use your own prompts that you’d like your students to focus on.
