This is a powerpoint of images designed as a stimulus for discussion within the classroom. It questions gender stereotypes and roles in the workplace/society. Some questions included to guide teachers/group discussion. This has been designed for an UKS2 class but could also be used with older children as it contains some thought provoking slides.

This is a set of vocabulary cards to be trimmed and laminated, enlarged/reduced if necessary. I use them in KS1 for children to develop awareness of their roles in society and the value of others, but they are very diverse. I created a shoebox of my personal belongings for chn to explore and decipher my roles in society. Chn can then discuss their own roles using these cards as a prompt. They can further use these flashcards as a point of reference when writing about themselves. Feel free to add, edit and enjoy. Please let me know if they work for you!
