Reality vs Fantasy: I created these posters to give a little more detail about fantasy in children's literature. I included the six motifs that can be found in fictional literature. Letter Writing: Are you looking for alphabet writing sheets, tracing mats and playdough learning mats? Well you have found just that! These writing sheets were created with versatility in mind. You can print and laminate sheets to work in any of the three ways outlined above. Another option is to print and tie sheets together using punched holes then place in your early writing centers. Martin Luther King: Martin Luther King Day: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Kid-Friendly Dreams and Quotes Posters with Cards. This resource is a fantastic investment for the celebration of Dr Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday on January 15th, for Black History Month and for general use any time of year. When I created these posters and quote cards I thought about making this resource meaningfully appropriate for themes that emanate out of Dr King's speeches. Classroom Rules This is a set of both positive and negative classroom behaviour sorting cards that can double up to create a reminder poster for young students. This is a way for them to recognize acceptable and unacceptable behaviours and to keep their behaviour in check. The cards can be used over and over or they can be permanently mounted either on the teacher’s desk facing the students or on the classroom wall or door. The teacher may choose to discuss each scenario depicted while students get an opportunity to place each one where they belong. Fractions Fractions is a fun filled activity for your students to get the hang of the identification of fractions. Your kiddos would find it very easy to name fractions after this fun set of task cards. All they have to do is determine how much of the food is eaten then record them on the cards. I suggest that you print and laminate the cards so that they can be used over and over, year after year. As a bonus I made some concept posters to go along with the theme for a visual reference in your classroom. I mostly included fractions up to sixths. Who is this for? These cards are great for the teaching of sequencing and narrative skills. This activity can help students grasp the idea that things happen in an order. Students build and sharpen their logical skills as they study the pictures and put them in order using sequencing words and numbers.
