With 10 years teaching experience in state and independent secondary schools, these are my day to day lessons for KS3 to KS5.
Uploading takes a long time, so if you want a particular lesson or topic across KS3 to KS5, please contact me and I will add it as soon as possible.
The lessons are simple, but very effective so that they can be used by others. They typically involve a Powerpoint, simple questions that progress to more challenging exam style questions.

Six sets of summary notes covering the content for AQA AS Physics, including:
Particles and quantum mechanics
Waves and optics
Forces, motion and mechanics
Materials and stretching forces
Electric current, circuits and mains.
Circular motion and SHM.
Includes diagrams and bullet pointed summary of content. Great for revision and structuring learning.
For free sample see:https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/gcse-physics-revision-notes-chapter-6-waves-12356536
Written for the current 1-9 AQA syllabus (although Edexcel and OCR are very similar) these notes cover all the content needed for these chapters of the GCSE Physics course. This includes equations, definitions and required practical work.
Chapters 5 - 8 cover the content for paper 2 and include the topics; forces, motion, waves, electromagnetic spectrum, magnetism, electromagnetism and astrophysics.
The notes work perfectly as part of revision and topic summary work. They ensure that all content from the syllabus that must be learnt is clearly available to pupils in a summarised, easy to follow and digest format.
There are three files for each chapter*, covering separate science physics higher, trilogy physics higher and trilogy physics foundation versions of the notes.
*chapter 8 is only on the separate science syllabus so there are no trilogy versions.
Collection of practice questions with annotated answers so pupils learn independently how to answers questions.
Questions start easy and get harder. Also includes new specification questions.
They are seperated into the topics of:
Energy transfers and efficiency
Energy calculations
Heat energy transfers
Energy resources
Lessons (minimum four) covering the topic of forces and extension, along with elastic potential energy.
Includes:
Practical investigating force-extension for springs and elastic bands
Details of practical commonly assessed
Hooke’s law
Equations F = ke and EPE = 1/2ke^2
Complete lessons for AQA Physics topic of space. This includes six lessons with Powerpoints and activities.
Lesson 1 - circular motion
Lesson 2 - Solar system
Lesson 3 - Life cycle of stars 1 (birth and life)
Lesson 4 - Life cycle of stars 2 (death)
Lesson 5 - Doppler effect
Lesson 6 - Big Bang theory
Chapter 5 - Forces and motion revision questions.
Practice questions with annotated answers so pupils learn independently how to answers questions.
Questions start easy and get harder. Also includes new specification questions.
Complete revision resources.
Following the release of information about summer exams, it is vital that pupils complete work focused on this information.
AQA GCSE Physics: Papers 1 and 2, separate higher, trilogy higher and trilogy foundation
Resources include:
Pupil friendly breakdown of which topics will / will not be assessed. This includes references to where the pages can be found in the course approved CGP revision guide. The specification has also been broken down into assessed / not assessed / not the focus.
Revision pack questions for each chapter, based on which parts of the course will be on the summer exam.
Unit of work for motion, including lessons on:
Distance / time graphs - equations s = d / t
Velocity / time graphs
Acceleration - equations a = v-u/t and v2 - u2 = 2as
Stopping, thinking and braking distance
Practical investigating human reaction time
There is also a large file with summary questions.
Complete summary notes for AQA A-level physics. Topic notes are broken down into ten documents.
Notes include diagrams and bullet pointed summary of content.
Great for revision and structuring learning.
Lots and lots of practice questions for all AS topics.
Resources are divided into roughly one hour practice papers.
The great part is that the mark scheme is written by a teacher to show pupils how to answer questions, rather than the exam mark scheme written for examiners. This allows pupils to work independently, self-assessing and improving their work whilst being able to follow best practice for how to answer questions.
Complete set of revision notes for papers 1 and 2 chapters (1-8) of AQA, GCSE physics. All the content including equations, definitions and required practicals needed for the course in concise notes.
Great time saver for teachers and pupils.
Notes include versions for separate physics, trilogy physics as well as foundation trilogy.
Revision resources on chapters 1 -4 (paper 1).
Practice questions with annotated answers so pupils learn independently how to answers questions.
Questions start easy and get harder. Also includes new specification questions.
The complete set of lessons, each with a Powerpoint and worksheet activities, on the topic of energy transfers, efficiency and calculations.
Written for the AQA 1-9 syllabus, however applicable to all GCSE courses.
Lessons include topics of:
Types of energy
Energy transfers in devices
Conservation of energy
Wasted energy and Sankey diagrams
Use of equations: W = Fxd, GPE = mgh, KE = 1/2mv^2
Energy transfer calculations
Power calculations
Extras:
