Due to the high demand and excellent reviews from my previous resource, I have made a second part with different cards, topics, etc. I hope it is really useful.
These speaking cards are aimed for year 12 and year 13 students, according to the new specifications.
I have been carefully looking at the changes in the speaking test in A-levels and looking at the exam papers given by AQA. Due to the lack of any past exam papers, I have decided to create my own so that students have plenty of resources to be ready for the new exams.
Lesson aimed for year 8 about technology, focusing on translation skills. Students start working at a word level, then move to a sentence level and finally they are able to work at a text level. Really good lesson to show progress and differentiation. There is worksheet for students to work with.
Differentiated writing task about the topic Vida sana. It was aimed for year 10 low ability, but it can also be used for lower years.
There are three differentiated tasks depending on the ability of the students. This lesson gives students a lot of support to write a presentation about whether they lead a healthy life or not.
Lesson aimed at year 10 low ability in order to prepare them for their GCSE exam, especially to help them with their translation skills. It can also be very useful for any other years learning about television.
I have included the lesson plan, the presentation, a plenary , and the main task in a word document.

Whole lesson for year 9 mixed-ability, in order to prepare them for their speaking assessment. They have to describe their own school. Even though it is a speaking lesson, it has a listening task and some games in case there is some time left at the end of the lesson.
It can also be used with lower years with a high ability.
