This resource contains a excel spreadsheet that is formatted and fitted with formulas to aid with tracking children’s reading targets and accomplishments. There is one sheet to enter each child’s names, the current book they’re reading and the targets/accomplishments for everyday in a week. There is another sheet that counts the number of times they achieve their targets that week. There is also another sheet that explains how to use the spreadsheet.

Computers store all our information in binary, a combination of 0s and 1s. However, not everyone understands what binary is, what a byte is, or how many bytes there in in a Gigabyte. This pack contains a presentation that goes through how computers store information as well as a short explanation on bits, bytes, and binary and the different units of bytes. There are plenty of notes to help for further understanding and curious students. This pack also contains a binary conversion worksheet with accompanying binary conversion table. The student can use the conversion table to work out binary messages and convert messages into binary. There is also another presentation that goes through how to create their own secret messages using the binary conversion. They can then swap with a friend and decode each others messages. A KS2 quiz around a data table taken from a previous SAT exam. This quiz will test the ability to read and interpret the data from the table. It is a macro-enabled powerpoint quiz. When you open the document it will automatically start in presentation mode and ask you to enable macros. You can exit the quiz at anytime by pressing the escape (ESC) key on the keyboard. This quiz contains 74 questions that will be displayed in a random order. Every time you open the powerpoint the order pf the questions will be randomised. If you answer all 74 questions then it will repeat the questions but in a new random order. There is also a question sheet to help retain the information and practice reading comprehension techniques and skills. There is an answer sheet included to aid the teacher during the marking process.
