Sharing these stepping stones I made for my Year 1 classroom. I stuck them on the floor just outside the door and leading up to their coat pegs. Every time the pupils enter the classroom, they must step on the stone and say the sound. If they are unsure of the sound, the teacher or TA would say it for them and ask them to repeat it back to pass to the next stone. They really enjoyed the movement activity and were able to continually practice their sounds. Linked to Read Write Inc.

A sentence writing booster/intervention that can be printed off to create a booklet of activity worksheets for Early Years and Key Stage 1 children who are struggling with sentence writing.
