I came up with the title on the sheet first and then built some maths problems around them. The grades for each are only to give an idea to the students, but hopefully it will get them thinking functionally.

This is aimed at lower ability but could also be used for higher ability. It combines maths and drawing as you have to sketch what the monster should look like given the properties. I did this for an interview and it seemed to go quite well. It is plotting the reciprocal functions by considering the values of the original functions.

I hate having waste, so calculate how many people I should invite to the party to ensure that I have no left overs.
