A one hour lesson for KS3 Drama that explores ensemble theatre using the stimulus of The Jabberwocky poem by Lewis Carroll. The lesson is scaffolded to build a piece of ensemble theatre utilising skills in still image, physical theatre and choral work. There is also an excellent opportunity to develop students’ understanding of language and this lesson could be used to explore vocabulary practically in English.
