This bundle of resources includes all of the Industrial Revolution products available in my store. This bundle is strictly for teachers teaching the Industrial Revolution period from approximately 1760-1840. It does NOT include resources for the era of Mass Production and Industrial Society that immediately followed this period in history. This resource bundle includes many activities, assessments, posters, and resources for a unit on the Industrial Revolution. It is not a comprehensive bundle with lesson plans but is designed to supplement your teaching of the material and provides a wide variety of activities and resources. Below is a comprehensive list of the resources available in this bundle, as well as links to the resources individually if you are interested in only some of the products. Industrialization/Industrial Revolution Vocab Graphic Organizer: This graphic organizer is set up for students to write a definition for the word, explain it’s significance to the Industrial Revolution for the word, and then find a picture or visual for each word. The words include: Agriculture, Assembly Line, Mass Production, Bourgeoisie, Proletariat, Railroad, Transition, Capitalism, Immigrant, Factory, Natural Resources ,Steam Engine, Textile, Urbanization. Answer Key Included. Industrial Revolution Overview Video Questions: The questions in the document follow a YouTube video and are basic questions about important inventions, innovations, and individuals that were vital to the Industrial Revolution. Answer Key Included. Industrialization Chart and Information: This chart/visual has numerous uses and can be used as a display item, poster, exit slip, notes, activity. The information lays out the when, what, where, who, and why of the Industrial Revolution. Industrial Revolution Extended Response Questions: This document includes two extended response questions. There are 2 different questions and they are included on each document 4 times for easy printing and cutting for students. The resource is a great tool for quick assessment or entry/exit slips. Industrial Revolution: Connecting Past Events with Present: This Industrial Revolution Resource tasks students with making connections from the past to aspects of today’s society. For this activity, students are tasked with finding present day current events that relate to concepts from the Industrial Revolution. These concepts and ideas include: Child Labor, Innovations in Transportation, Women in the Workplace, Use of the Assembly Line, Popular/Mass Entertainment, Urban Growth Industrial Revolution: Connecting Past Events with Present - Version 2: Another version of the above activity in which students are tasked with making connection from the past to aspects of today’s society. The concepts and ideas in this version include: Innovations and Inventions, Women’s Rights and Women in Power, Workplace Safety Regulations, Consumer Economics, Industrial Growth and Manufacturing, The Middle Class Industrial Revolution Quick Quiz: This product is designed to provide quick, concise feedback to teachers about the Industrial Revolution. This Industrial Revolution Quick Quiz is a ten question quiz with 5 multiple choice and 5 matching questions (with word bank) over the Industrial Revolution. Answer Key included. Industrial Revolution Videos Review: Students are presented with a graphic organizer of the four video clips. For each video clip, students will then write a description of each video and then find a visual that could accompany each video clip. All of this is completed in the graphic organizer. Industrial Revolution Writing Prompt: This PDF document includes a writing prompt about the Industrial Revolution and its beginning in Europe. The prompt for this document asks: Why did the Industrial Revolution begin in Europe, especially Great Britain, in the 19th century and not some other place in the world. Students are tasked to create their own invention by describing, drawing, and finally creating a prototype to share with the class. Students will complete the following tasks when completing this project: Brainstorming an idea for a new invention. Diagraming/drawing their new invention. Creating a patent application.
