A placemat that I used with my lower ability GCSE students. Basically, in the clouds pupils have to write an example of each technique and colour code the bubbles. Three colours are to be used to show which techniques they understand and the ones they don't.

Just a simple ten minute test that I set my lower ability GCSE pupils in order to help them develop their knowledge of language techniques.
