Students select the correct answer by clipping a clothespin, peg or paper clip to it. I like to laminate these cards so students can simply circle the correct answer using a dry erase marker. These cards are great for talk partner work, think-pair-share or in a tough spot. Alternatively, you can print these on paper to hand out to your class at the end of the lesson; pupils circle the correct answer and hand in as a great exit ticket or plenary to the lesson. Once the initial sound is established children can then blend and read the word. This is great in a tough spot for continuous provision or as a table top activity.
