This St. Patrick’s Day theme activity gives children many opportunities to practice their names. Write children’s name on the rainbow strip. Next, let children build their name with magnet letters. Let children stamp their name with letter stamps. Finally, let children write their name in rainbow colors; they may use crayons, markers, or pencils.

This Valentine’s Day Maths packet includes Valentine cupcake roll a number, four number line puzzles, and Valentine’s Day chocolate kisses memory matching game. These are perfect play based learning activities to add to your Valentine’s Day themed math center. Children will learn number recognition, learn colour recognition, and practice fine motor skills.
For Valentine’s cupcake roll a number, make a copy for each student. You may laminate to use again if you wish. Allow children to roll dice. Allow children to count the dots on their dice. Allow children to decorate their Valentine cupcake with candies. They may use real candies such as conversation hearts, or they may use foam stickers or mini erasers to decorate. Encourage the children to put the same number of candies on their cupcake as the number that they rolled.
Valentine’s Day number line puzzles come in Valentine owls and Valentine teddy bear. Both owl and teddy bear puzzles come with numbers 1 to 10 and numbers 11 to 20. Laminate the puzzles. Cut the puzzles down the lines. Place whichever puzzle you wish to use in your maths station. Allow children to put the puzzle together by lining up the numbers in correct numerical order.
For Valentine’s Day chocolate kisses memory matching game, allow children to match the chocolate kisses by color. Make two copies of each chocolate kiss card. Laminate and cut out the cards. The chocolate kisses come in blue, green, orange, yellow, pink, purple, red, grey, and white. Encourage children to make matches by finding kisses that are the same colour.
This resource has eight pages worth of activities. Most of the cards and puzzles are two to a page.
This packet comes with Valentine’s Day heart memory matching cards and Valentine’s Day heart puzzles. Children will match the hearts by colour for both memory matching and puzzles. Memory matching game comes with hearts in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, white, grey, and black. Puzzles come with hearts in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, purple, pink, brown, black, grey, and white. Both memory matching game and puzzles includes colour words. Make two copies each heart for both memory matching and for the puzzles in order to have matches. Laminate, and cut out the cards and puzzles. Allow children to find matching colour hearts.

This booklet is filled with cute, baby animal pictures. It is informative; it contains the name of each baby animal, and it also contains sight word sentences. Your students will enjoy reading along with you and learning baby animal names. I hope you find Baby Animal Book UK Version to be a helpful, interactive read along booklet.
To prep, fold the pages in half, cut the pages into two parts; trim. Next, staple the corner of the pages. When putting the book together, the page with words goes first, and the page with the picture that matches the word goes next. After the books are prepped, give the books to the children, and read along with them.
The booklet includes the sight words I, see, the. You may allow the children to circle the sight words as they read along with you. As an alternative, you may allow children to use the code provided to help them mark the sight words.
The booklet also includes UK spelling of the word favourite. There is a “My favourite baby animal is___.” page. Ask the children what their favourite baby animal is; write their answer on the line. Older children may be able to write their answer without help. Also included is a “My drawing page.” Let the children draw their own animal pictures.

Read to students for a group activity, and have them follow the hands on directions as you read; you may also place the booklets in your reading center for children to look through after the group reading activity is finished. This booklet is UK spelling version.

Valentine’s Day Post Office Dramatic Play Props contains various props to add to your dramatic play area. They are Valentine hearts post office themed props. Included are various signs, labels, employee badge, checklist, postcards, and envelopes. Stock your dramatic play area with dress up clothes and accessories; have postal worker clothes and accessories if possible. Add various sizes of boxes for sorting. Add papers, postcards, envelops, writing utensils, stamps, and stickers either in your dramatic play area, or place your writing center close to the dramatic play area. Add a cash register and play money to the dramatic play area. Allow children to help create a mailbox to add to the area. I have included directions on how to create a mailbox. Laminate the signs, and add them wherever they fit in your dramatic play area. Laminate the labels, checklists, postcards, and envelopes; add to the dramatic play area. Allow children to write on the checklist, postcards, and envelopes with dry erase markers. Have extra non laminated postcards and envelopes for children to write, stamp, and decorate with stickers. There are two hours signs. One has hours listed; the other has no hours listed. The children can make their own marks on the blank hour signs. Other signs include Weigh Boxes Here, Sort Boxes, Sort Envelopes, Pay Here, Welcome, Open, and Closed. Labels include mail truck, tape, mailbox, hat, paper towels, parcels, envelope, and stamps. Everything either has hearts or red border with white dots included for a Valentine’s Day theme added. After your dramatic play area is set up and ready, invite the children to engage in play.

This Distance Learning Home Packet resource includes a weekly calendar with suggested activities and accompanying activity pages for parents to do with children at home. Included are the weekly calendar with suggested activities, a blank weekly calendar for parents to write their own activities, “My family is special because…” writing prompt with plenty of room to draw, oil and water lava lamp science experiment, dancing rice science experiment, rain clouds in a jar science experiment, cinnamon germs hand washing experiment, directions for crafting a microphone, and random letters and numbers 1-10 for letter and number search. Letter and number search is appropriate for Pre-K and K. The rest of the activities should work well with any early elementary age child as well. Parents should print out the writing prompt and letter and number search, but the rest of the pages do not need to be printed if parents do not want to do so. Teachers, you may email this packet with your parents, or share it with them via Google Drive. This particular version is PDF version, but I give permission for this resource to be shared with parents only, and to be used in whichever way is most helpful to you; feel free to save on your Google Drive if you wish. This resource has 19 usable pages of activities for parents.
This math and literacy packet includes complete the patterns, two number puzzles (1-5 and 6-10), Hh is for hat, dot letters, and “My wish is…” writing project. All the activities are St. Patrick’s Day themed.
For dot letters, write a letter on the paper provided; give the children dot markers or paint and Q-tips; finally, allow the children to find the matches, and to dot the matches. Dot letters includes a page of blank shamrocks; add your own letters to the shamrocks!
“My wish is…” literacy activity can be done as a craftivity, or it can be done just as a writing project. Make copies, and cut out the literacy activity paper below. Ask the children what their wish is; write what they say on the paper. Lastly, the paper can be pasted onto a paper bag puppet project; or it can be left as is.
Your Early Learners will enjoy all of these hands on math and literacy activities!
These Bat Numbers and Hermit Crab Letters are great to use as a part of a Nocturnal Animal Unit. You can discuss what nocturnal means, what animals are nocturnal including hermit crabs and bats. Next, add Hermit Crab Letters and Bat Numbers to your literacy and math centers, or to your fine motor center!
Give your students dot markers. For Number Bats, let them count the bats and dot them as they count. They can write the total in the box provided. For Hermit Crab Letters, let them find the letters on the hermit crabs that match the letter at the top of the page. Let your students dot the matches!
Hermit Crab Letters includes vowels A, E, I, O, and U in both uppercase and lowercase. It also includes a blank Hermit Crab page; write your own letters on this page! Colored and black and white pages are both included for an ink saving option!

This color words booklet is filled with many different color words and accompanying pictures. On the second part of each page, the children can color the color word. Older children can be encouraged to color the color words the correct color; don’t worry too much about which colors younger preschoolers use. The main goals for younger preschoolers are that they are being introduced to colors, and that they are handling a book. The last page is “My favorite color is” and “My drawing.” Help children write their favorite color, and let them draw a picture.

This bear themed activity packet includes five activities. The included activities are B is for bear, bear paw prints, what do bears eat? activity, bear hole punch/lacing card activity, and bear cave gross motor activity idea. Your students are sure to have fun as they learn about bears through these play based, engaging activities!
Print several pages of the bear paws. Laminate and use in a follow the bear prints game. As an extension, you could do hand print art. When their hand prints are dry, allow the children to examine the bear paw print cut outs alongside their own hand prints. Ask the children to compare and contrast the bear paw prints to their hand prints. A black and white ink saving option is included for bear paws.
For the activity what bears eat, laminate the cut-outs. Put Velcro on a poster board, and put Velcro on the cut-outs. Ask the children to Velcro to the boards only the foods that bears eat.
Make as many copies of B b is for bear, and place the pages in your literacy center. You may wish to laminate B b is for bear page and give children dry erase markers. The children can use dry erase markers to write letter B b, or they can copy the letter on other paper. Both colored and black and white versions are included for B b is for bear.
For fine motor hole punch, let the children use a hole puncher on the circles around the bear. After using the hole puncher, the children can use string for lacing.
And for gross motor bear cave activity, set up a bear cave area for children to crawl in and out.
There are seven pages of activities included.
This Easter Math packet includes two number line puzzles, Easter patterns, and Easter egg number puzzles.
One number line puzzle is numbered 1 – 10; the other number line puzzle is numbered 11 – 20. Laminate; cut along the vertical lines; allow the children to put the puzzles together by lining up the numbers in correct numerical order.
For the Easter patterns, cut out the cut and paste patterns. Give the cut-out patterns to the children along with the pattern page. Allow the children to paste the correct missing pattern.
For the Easter egg number puzzles, laminate the pages; cut out the puzzle pieces; allow the children to put the puzzles together. The puzzles contain a number word and the amount of Easter eggs matching that number on one side; the puzzles also contain a number and dice with the correct number of dots. This provides children with many opportunities to count and learn numbers. They may see the numbers and number words; they may count the dots on the dice, and they may count the Easter eggs to find the puzzle matches. These puzzles are for numbers 1 -10.
There is one page worth of number line puzzles, one page worth of Easter patterns, and five pages worth of Easter egg number puzzles.
Laminate the pages. Cut out the clip art. You might want to do this as a story time activity first. Tell the children during story time that they are going to create their own story. Tell the children that it is going to be a Imagination Land story. Show the children a few pieces of clip art; then ask one child to choose a clip art. If the child chooses a tree, say the story is going to take place in the forest. Then ask another child to choose a clip art. This time choose clip art that will be a character. If the child chooses a super hero, say that the story is going to have a superhero in the forest. Lastly, ask another child what will happen. If the child chooses an ice cream, say that the superhero is eating ice cream in the forest. Keep asking children one by one to add to the story. Hold the laminated pieces of clip art up for the children to see as you help them tell their story.
Next, put the clip art into three small boxes; one box for setting, one box for characters, and one box for plot. Place the boxes on a table in your literacy center. Show the children the storyboard. Show them how to use it. Explain that the first part is for where they want the story to take place, the second box is for the characters, and the third box is for what they want to happen in the story. Show the children that they may place clip art on each section. They may have planets on the setting part, they may have pirates and superheros on the character part, they may have camping things or treats, etc on the plot part, and so on. After the children understand how to use the board, let them place whichever pieces of clip art they choose on the board to create their own stories on their own. You may place Velcro on the board and the clip art if you wish, or you may just let the children lay the clip art on the board. Personally, I would just let them lay the clip art on the board. I also wouldn’t worry about cutting out the clip art out perfectly; I would leave some white. The clip art is on the small side, and this should be a helpful product for you! Don’t make it too tedious!
