The 4 Read, Find, Write books are ideal for the crucial stage when children start to segment and blend words and learn high-frequency words. The series is progressive, with Book 1 using short phrases and a small number of first words and Book 4 using sentences and 100 common words. The sheets have been successfully used with KS1 and 2 children, who really enjoyed using them. The graded books are suitable for all beginner readers. The straightforward layout and slow, steady progression make the books particularly suitable for children struggling with literacy, who can use the sheets independently. Book 1 concentrate on c-v-c words, double final consonants, sh and ch and the long vowels ai, ee, igh, oa and oo.
