I have colour coded the cards (blue easiest / green harder, red hardest) so you can differentiate by only setting certain coloured cards for different students, or by asking students to learn them in order (bluest first) so they learn the basic information first.

This is a set of flashcards created for the cell biology unit for AQA Biology. The flashcards are double-sided (flip on long edge), so the answer is on the reverse of each card, and are colour-coded with blue cards being the easiest, green mid-difficulty and red the most challenging. With my lowest ability groups I ask them to learn the blue cards as a minimum. My higher ability groups learn the blue cards first, then the green and red cards.
