Money Fan

(1)
This Money Fan includes the British coins - 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2. You will need to print, cut out, laminate and fasten the components together with a split pin. You can print as many as you need for your class and make a few spares as well to be on the safe side! You can make a money fan with just one set, but this restricts responses to amounts with no duplicates. Or you can make a fan with two or more sets, allowing answers to questions such as, 'show me 7p using 3 coins'. For younger children you could use just the coins to make amounts up to 10p.

These colourful table top number lines can be used as either a 1-10 number line or a 1-20 number line. The odd numbers are coloured red and the even numbers are in green. they will work well as an independent teaching aid to remind children of the order of numbers and the correct orientation of numbers. They could be used in numerous ways to create games and activities to develop one to one correspondence. Children could also keep their own laminated copy in their drawer or in their book bag for use at home.
