I am a Geography and Natural Sciences teacher and I produce a large number of resources every year. In this shop you will find resources for teaching GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Environmental Science and Astronomy. ~You will also find A level Biology, Physics and Geography resources.
I spend a huge amount of time on my resources and only ask for a small contribution. Our items will always be on sale.

A very general worksheet asking students to consider the energy transition. Two simple tables that show how the different sources of electrical energy have changed in the last decade. Students have the opportunity to plot a graph and compare different energy sources. Then analyse how and why the price has changed, especially the price of renewable energies.
This worksheet comes with answers.
This is a comprehensive and challenging pack for a class to work on as a mini project. It can be delivered as a couple of lessons by itself, or be used in conjunction with other resources.
The most useful part of this pack is the varied and detailed worksheets on different forms of power generation. The sheets engage with all levels of blooms taxonomy and require students to plot graphs, compare, contract, make calculations on pay back time, and analyse trends.
The worksheets are also very up to date. Referencing real world companies in the renewable and non-renewable sphere and what they are doing. The sheets alone could keep a class busy for two lessons.
The power point is a way of going over the sheets if you choose but also provides differentiated starter and main tasks for two lessons as well. The tasks are colour coded by difficulty. The powerpoint also has a video reference page at the back.
This is a live resource and will be updated annually with up to date prices and data for the various worksheets. If you would like something specific added, please add it to the feedback.
A simple worksheet on the Solar System. The worksheet specifically covers important definitions in the AQA KS3 syllabus such as exoplanet and light year. However it is a good worksheet for any KS3 or KS4 class. Answers
Fun extension lesson. Students design a space ship. Suitable for all ages. I have had A level students designing artificial wombs in centrafuges to ks3 designing huge A2 sized space ships. Includes a power point and lesson plan
A lesson about an hour long. It covers the important definitions in Edexcel Astronomy 1.1 to 1.5,
It recaps the seasons from KS3 and discusses the key definitions
Onedefinition from the spec is left off which is the Prime Meridian. That is covered in a seperate lesson.
It comes with two differentiated worksheets which can be purchased separately:
https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/astronomy-and-the-earth-11747898
https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/seasons-worksheet-11738104
This resource covers section 1 of the new Edexcel Astronomy specification. It covers all the key points that need to be known, except for the key words North Pole and South pole.
It can also be used a Geography resource.
It could also be used as an A level extension for Physics
This lesson covers what needs to be known about the Moon in Edexcel Astronomy 2.1-2.7.
All key definitions are covered and the Lunar phases are used at the end to explain the changing way in which the Moon is perceived. A lunar phases worksheet is included.
Tidal locking is then discussed to explain why we only see one side, There are questions for the class to think about.
If the Moon is drawn. The lesson should take around 60 -75 minutes. If not, closer to an hour
The worksheet can be purchased separately here:

Edit: Worksheet added as noticed formatting error on the word version. Word version still available for people that wish to change the worksheet.
This worksheet comes with a markscheme. It covers the cause of both types of eclipses and asks students to explain it.
It then asks students to explain how eclipses would be different in different situations
Students are given a short description of two journeys. They are also given data in table form They then plot this graph onto distance time graphs.
They then answer some simple questions about the graphs. Good for low/mid ability.
This is a worksheet that provides students with a table to fill out in order to help them find the refractive index of the air glass boundary. It also provides a diagram to support them.
The worksheet also asks the students to summarise the experiment and provides a markscheme. The worksheet without the powerpoint is also available here for lower cost.
https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/refraction-finding-refractive-index-worksheet-12049995
The experiment is the basic shining a light through a glass block. It could be done for A level, but it breaks down the instructions for the experiment in a very basic way for 11-16 year olds.
It comes with a powerpoint that has diagrams and instructions for the practical as well
This worksheet has students plot the route of three different objects. They must follow the instructions carefully. They then measure the scale diagrams to see final displacement.
Best for higher ability GCSE students and A level students.
update 2019: typo
A great extension sheet for both the AQA Forces topic and Space topics more generally.
Ask students to quantitatively and qualitatively consider the effects of gravity on some of the more lesser known objects in our Solar System.
