Information collection from information displayed around the room (attached in downloads.) Keywords discussed and defined. A whole lesson as part of a KS3 Change in Warfare unit. The lesson is completely ready to go. Interactive and engaging. Discussion of a source as a starter. Brief contextual overview Group work to become experts on 1 of 3 case studies of early cannon use. (I have designed the task to produce a news report but could be altered to be an ask the expert task very easily. Information sheets are built into the powerpoint.)
