A 30 page pack of fun Christmas themed activities aimed at 5-7 year olds.
There are a mixture of numeracy, literacy, phonics and art activities perfect for the end of term. Examples include counting carol singers, writing acrostic poems and completing sequences among many others. Children can work independently on activities during this busy part of the year or they could be used as part of a whole lesson. A colour and black and white version of the 30 page booklet is included.
A great way to keep learning going right up to the end of term. I used this booklet with my year 1 class last year and they really enjoyed it!

This resource is a Christmas themed phonics booklet, containing a wide range of activities suitable for phases 3 - 5.
There are 20 pages of activities perfect for children to work on independently during phonics lessons, as a start of day activity or as a filler for the busy Christmas period. Alternatively, send home for parents to work on with children as a homework task.

This resource is a non-fiction comprehension activity for year 2. The theme of the comprehension is ‘do aliens exist?’ The booklet is narrated by a scientist and two aliens who discuss why there is life on Earth, why there isn’t life on Mars and where alien life might be found in the future. It would be perfect for using during ‘World Space Week’ in October, during a space topic or during ‘Science Week.’
The booklets are based on the KS1 SATs reading paper. I have included 3 differentiated levels. There are a range of ‘what,’ ‘where,’ ‘when’ and ‘how’ questions, some multiple choice tick questions and some that require more detailed answers. Each comprehension contains a short piece of text with words that can be sounded out. There are three trickier words which have pictures to help children work out what they say.
The text is followed by 5 simple questions.
There is also a PowerPoint included in the pack containing a slide for each text so that you can go through the comprehensions before the children complete them. Each slide also contains 3 words that are trickier to sound out, with sound buttons underneath them.
