Double-sided A4 resource card for wicket keeping in cricket. One side of the card is basic teaching points with images and the other side has two separate tables for self and peer assessment of technique. Good for all ages, simple to understand and use and colourful to attract attention.
Used with various age groups with good success.
A double-sided A4 resource which takes pupils through linking the T-method to set their crouch start, their crouch start and their sprinting technique. Have used with a variety of years as a super learner/extension task and pupils have responded well.
A double sided A4 resource card including images and text for overarm bowling in cricket. The resource card includes written teaching points as well as images. On the card bowling is split into 4 separate phases each increasing in difficulty. The card also has success criteria for each phase to offer the opportunity for self and peer assessment during an activity/lesson.
The card is best used when printed and laminated and is good for years 7 through to 11.
This bundle includes a power point, lesson plan and resources needed for all activities (including differentiated worksheets for higher and lower ability pupils). The lesson is on sedentary lifestyle and obesity and meets the AQA GCSE PE specification for the topic. I have included the lesson plan so that you can see what activities match which slides etc. I have used this lesson with my GCSE Year 9 and Year 10 classes and have found it to be very successful in terms of engagement and giving the pupils knowledge/understanding. The objectives of the lesson can be seen below.

This resource includes a power point and word search - everything needed to complete the revision lesson. It includes all information needed for the AQA GCSE PE specification on immediate, short and long term effects of exercise. I have used this with both Year 10 and Year 11 classes for revision and have found it very useful.
Activities in the lesson include: a word search, recap on the effects of a exercise, a group task to create a presentation and a plenary focusing on questions.
This is a bundle for a GCSE revision lesson on Prohibited Substances for the AQA Physical Education exam board. The bundle includes the power point and resources needed for all activities included. I have used this resource with both year 10 and year 11 pupils to aid their revision and have found it particularly useful to aid their memory and recall of the topic. The resources meet the AQA specification and covers everything pupils need to know including: what prohibited substances are, the 7 key substances and the advantages and disadvantages of taking prohibited substances.
Lesson activities include: post it note starter and plenary to discover missing learning and check pupils have filled the gaps, recap on what a prohibited substance is, group challenge to complete a table on prohibited substances and a card sort activity for advantages and disadvantages.
A double sided A4 resource card for defending in football. One side of the resource includes a diagram and explanation of a football defending drill which pupils can set up themselves and complete independently of the teacher.
The second side of the resource includes the teaching points for defending and a tick checklist for peer-assessment of technique.
I have found the resource to be user friendly, easily accessible and useful with a variety of classes and year groups. Even challenging classes have been easy to engage with this resource as it allows pupils to have some freedom over their own learning.
