This resource contains 3 revision question grids that can be used with students as part of their revision lessons for the homeostasis and response topic.
Students will be using answer squares and placing them on an answer grid that can be used repeatedly. This is more focused on recalling information and would be great to use just before an exam so students can gain confidence in knowing the knowledge needed to gain marks on questions.
There are instruction slides available, so you know exactly how to use this revision resource with your students, including answer slides.
Does not include IVF and negative feedback.
Please find time to review this resource to let the rest of the TES community see what they will be using.

Throughout my teaching career, I’ve grappled with the challenge of helping students tackle physics equations comprehensively, ensuring they show all their working out. Despite trying various methods like FIFA, I found students often struggled to remember each component or missed crucial steps in their calculations.
In response, I developed a new approach that has yielded remarkable success in my classroom. Named “HENCH” for lower-ability students and “HEINRCH” for higher-ability ones, this method breaks down each step required for marks in physics calculation questions, ensuring students don’t overlook important elements.
Given the increasing emphasis on thoroughness in exams by boards like AQA, it’s crucial for students to demonstrate their working out at every stage. This method not only helps students achieve full credit but also ensures they develop a deeper understanding of the subject. It’s a simple yet effective tool that equips students with the skills they need to excel.
It would be wonderful to see this method used consistently across many educational platforms to support our students understand how to approach difficult physics equations questions!
The resource contains worked examples of how to use HENCH/HEINRCH and photos of actually exam questions using this method.
Like and rate this resource to help it reach as many physics educators as possible!
Thank you.
Do you find your students never seem to the see the link between different topic in science?
Do they struggle to understand that what they learn for each paper can be used in multiple different questions?
Our resource will help your students understand the links between different topics for paper Biology, while increasing the recall of their knowledge. This is a template for the version we sell on our shop and found in the bundles.
Think - Students write down what they can remember about that particular piece of content they are given.
Link - Students will then try to form a link between the two areas such as the example provided.
This resource is very simple to use and can be used time and time again.
If you found this resource useful, please provide a small review.
