Plot data onto the spreadsheet and get a kite graph out. If you are looking at environmental factors affecting biotic components of an ecosystem, then this template will plot up to 2 abiotic sets of data over the kite. Thus you can see at a glance if the environmental factors are affecting your biotic species.
You may plot any combination, eg, pH and light, or ph and moisture, or temperature and light. there are endless combinations you can look at, whilst comparing to your species research.
Powerpoint and worksheets for the sessions based upon the development of the periodic table. Questions based on the table as you go through the presentation. Tables as a handout can be stuck into books as pupils go through the powerpoint with you. Should take about 1 hour to go through the who presentation, Having taught this topic many times, it is a little dry for the pupils, this presentation tries to make it more interactive and get the students to think.

See also Kite Graph template, Quadrats, transects sampling + additional plotting of line graph to compare, also available on this TES site, This one plots the kite, as well as being able to plot environmental conditions such as Ph, moisture, light etc.
Can be used for both number frequency plots or percentage coverage plots.
Version XL5 gives graphs specific for % coverage, whereas the original file had automatic scales. So this would be very good for KS5+ as well as other years.
