This is an ideal starter lesson to the Vietnam conflict. It is suitable for GCSE or Year 9. It includes a presentation and introductory video clip together with images to enable the students to think about the conflict. There is also a series of notes to accompany the lesson. The lesson focus is on the impact of Dien Bien Phu and aftermath.

This is for A level students and includes a powerpoint presentation to correspond with the Oxford AQA A level textbook by Sally Waller. It looks at the social issues when Blair was PM and poses the question whether Britain had become a more equal and multi cultural society. Video clips and hyperlinked into the presentation including a summary of the 7/7 attacks and response from David Cameron about multiculturalism. There is a set of students notes to accompany the presentation.

There are three presentations with activities with cover the impact of Thatcherism on society for the AQA A level Modern Britain syllabus. The presentations cover the sale of council houses, the miners strike and parliamentary opposition. There are hyperlink video clip which also include the demonstrations at Greenham Common. There are also student notes to accompany the presentations. A couple of the activities require use of the Oxford AQA A level textbook by Sally Waller, however the activity could be changed by use of own source.
