Scavenger hunt checklist of different coloured love hearts with additional symbol cards of each item. Supported with Boardmaker PCS symbols. While looking in books, looking around the environment or looking on screen, tick off the items as you see them. Beach scene activities to encourage communication and literacy. Beach scene blank and selection of items you might find at the beach to cut out and stick on to beach scene. Colours board. Lessons Blank beach scene: Make own scene with cut outs (can add own drawings). Discuss what you see/do at the beach. Populated beach scene: Discuss and make sentences about what you can see whichever way you like; verbally, with symbols, with words, with low-tech supports, with a communication device. Inspired by the AAC for All’s excellent Go Talk flip tops. These are intended to be placed at the top of a Go Talk device.
