This booklet breaks the specification down into areas of revision and can be used to create mock papers easily. Students have a page or half page on which to plan responses to each question.

To aid in revision, this booklet breaks down the specification into relevant areas of revision/exam questions for each section of the paper. Texts featured are Life on Mars & The Bridge, Woman’s Realm & Huck, Zoe Sugg and Attitude. Would also work as a bank to create mocks from. Hope this is useful! This is a tracker I developed which auto calculates the grades for every assessment year 12 and 13 do throughout the year using actual grade boundaries from the June 2019 examination series. It includes mock exams and overall grades too. Headers can easily be changed if different texts have been chosen. Hopefully this will save you a lot of time! Includes two booklets - one for component 1 and one for component 2. In this I have broken down a variety of possible questions for each set text (opted for LOM and TB, Zoella and Attitude, Huck and WR for C2, Beyonce for C1). This could be used as a revision tool for students - colour coding their confidence in answering each and working on the questions they deem red or amber. Alternatively this could be very useful in creating mock papers using a combination of questions from the two booklets.

This bundle is all the resources I used to teach the Submarine unit (minus the textbooks that are occasionally referred to). All resources are editable, all key scenes are on youtube so students can access without several copies of the DVD. Includes powerpoints, song lyrics, key scene screen grabs, structure strips and more.

Here’s a booklet I’ve made for students to revise everything taught for components 1 and 2 of the new GCSE Media Studies specification for Eduqas. The booklet does not cover information itself, but rather a full list of possible exam questions for each area taken from wording in the specification, as well as some unseen comparison texts for each set text for component 1 section A. This would be helpful for students revising alongside the factsheets provided by the exam board and notes from class for component 2. This would also be invaluable for anyone wanting to make up their own set of full mock papers as there are many different variations available from the questions in here. There is an editable version for download as well as pdf for anyone who covered different texts for component 2 (It Crowd, Friends, Michael Jackson, Pharrell and Taylor Swift were the ones I taught). Hope this proves to be useful.

This will enable you to track the progress of your students throughout the year with columns for each unit studied - two assessments per film, as well as coursework and mock exam points. This particular tracker follows teaching of component 2 in year 1 and component 2 in year two. It can easily be adjusted to meet other needs though, All calculations are based on actual grade boundaries from the June 2019 results. Feedback always appreciated.
