iPod/iPad themed activity for transition day. Children to design their own iPod/iPad apps to describe themselves as a person. Could then be used as a first display in the class, ready before they start in September. Differentiated so suitable from EYFS up to upper KS2. Idea taken from Pinterest, but updated to include differentiation across the primary age.

An acrostic snow poem and a rain shape poem. To be used for teaching poetry or as a display. I designed these and the supporting images as a homework. The Powerpoint document has 6 pages of each poem, so can easily be printed on a handout to be cut up for each child's homework book. I have used in conjunction with Hamilton&'s Y1 unit 3b - Poems on a theme - weather

Moderation prompt form for pupil progress meetings. Simple table ensuring that learning journeys are consistent, and analysis of percentage of progress made that term. Good progress of 78 points / average scale point of 6 per area of learning. Analysis of class make-up: SEN, G&T, EAL, LAC, FSM etc. Reasons for v high/low profile scores and any future CPD needs. Useful as a summary for the EYFS Co-ordinator when talking to SLT/HT/OFSTED/LA Profile Manager.

Assembly script based on Cleversticks by Bernard Ashley. The story is based on a Chinese child who is new to the class and doesn't speak much English. He feels withdrawn as everyone has a special talent apart from him, until he shows the class how to use chopsticks. A nice story/play to do as part of Chinese New Year.
