This is a series of 5 lessons looking at Continuity and change in the 1960’s using the TV program Till Death Us Do Part - the BBC lost Sitcoms remake. I have compiled sources from the period - using data from the BBC and quotes from the time. The program itself is famous for having swearing and racist language so I have not used the original show only a remade episode which has no racism, but mild swearing (silly moo, bloody, hussy, git and saucy little bitch) and shows outdated attitudes to women. All these issues could be discussed in relation to the topics these series of lessons look at. Feel free to edit and adapt these resources as you see fit - in the supplemental resources I have suggestions for other tasks and links to other useful resources.
