Hello Amazing Fellow Educators! I´m Danicka. I graduated with a teaching specialization in French as an Additional Language from the University of Toronto in June 2022. I am currently an IB French Teacher for the Middle Years and Diploma Programs. I bring extensive experience in teaching French to diverse learners. This thematic Valentine’s day activity can be used in your French language classroom to get your beginner students to practice their writing skills by writing short sentences about what they like, love, and are grateful for. The second part of this activity focuses on having them write about kind actions that can demonstrate towards the special people in their life (whomever that may be to them (ex. parent(s), sibling(s), friends, etc.) Sentence prompts are provided. It would be helpful to give them a vocabulary sheet or visual aid with a list of adjectives along with this activity (unless they have already learned about adjectives of personality.)
