This fact file is a great way to teach students about Charles Dickens with a choice of three differentiated sheets of comprehension questions to answer. This means that work can be changed to match different age groups and levels of ability. Sheet one: Ten multiple choice questions. Sheet two: Ten open questions and additional fact finding task. Sheet three: Five open questions and three additional inference questions. This comprehension activity is perfect as an introduction to any Dickens text, or alternatively as a revision / plenary task.
