Halloween song
French version of the song “This is Halloween” from the movie “Nightmare before Christmas”. Students first work with some of the vocabulary as a starter and then listen to the song filling in the gaps.
It includes powerpoint and worksheet for the students.
German writing mat
A worksheet to give to your students about everything they need to remember when doing a writing in German. I adapted a powerpoint someone made and created a worksheet to give the students to stick in their books.
If you find any mistakes please let me know! Hope you like it
Revision carousel Halloween
This is a revision carousel where you can do a learning by stations. You divide the class in 4 groups and each one spend 10 minutes on each activity (or more, depending on how long is your lesson). Each activity is explained and can easily be adapted to any topic.
I make it more exciting by giving students points for each activity they finish and giving prizes at the end depending on how many points they have!
Card game German
I made a German version of a card game I always play with my friends. In Spanish it’s called “the wolf” or “the town sleeps”.
One player is “the wolf” and the others are “villagers” or some other special roles. The wolf wins when they eliminate all the villagers without being caught, otherwise the villagers win if they find out who is the wolf.
It’s a game that I use in class to use language in a real-life context (what’s more real life than playing a cardgame with your friends?!) , listening and speaking. At the beginning I start leading the game, but soon the students are so engaged that they want to lead it!
Hope you like it :)
