It is designed to emphaise the key AOs needed this unit (including context) such as encouraging students to memorise key quotations, have a solid understanding of the play as a whole and develop close analysis. Each lesson contains a powerpoint (created with a 4 part lesson plan) and corresponding, differentiated worksheets. It also comes complete with 8 practice exams.

This scheme takes studnets through the novels, teaching the key aspects of narrative and modelling how to respond to the extract based questions of the examination. 22 complete lessons including powerpoints, worksheets and several practice assessment opportunities. My lesson aim to teach independent analytical and thinking skills in order to support deeper understanding of the texts. There are several opportunities to teach context throughout the unit.
