There are also brand new English-with-Media resources to choose from, and many materials such as assemblies and certificates that could prove useful to Head of Years. This lesson is half-punctuation and half-comprehension. This allows students to ‘solve the punctuation crimes’ by detecting the ‘stolen punctuation’ in a sentence. After answering some 11+ style comprehension questions, students will test their punctuation skills by writing a crime fiction piece. The lesson finalises with a peer-review.
