This lesson starts with a stopwatch starter in which students need to to answer 4 questions based around topics covered in covered in previous lessons.

Finding Fractions of Amounts
4 Examples showing 2 different methods
This leads into 4 mini whiteboard questions displayed onscreen
This leads into an individual worksheet where students have to answer fraction of amount questions to help them break the code and find the joke
There is then Recap slide to sum up learning
This is followed by an Explain the Mistake question and then by an exam style question
