Converting Scale Measurements into Real-Life Measurements worksheet asks students to apply their understanding of scale drawings in order to interpret a scale. Suitable for Functional Skills Maths or Key Stage 3 Maths. Using this resource, learners are presented with the following problem: A builder has been asked to attach a garage to the side of the house. The owner of the house would like the garage to have space for two jetskis. Jetski 1 measures: 4500mm × 1600mm Jetski measures: 3600mm × 1700mm To leave space to move around, there must be 400mm left around all the sides of each jetski Using the diagram provided, students must convert scale measurements, answer the questions on the sheet and draw the garage to scale on the sheet provided. SUITABLE FOR HOME SCHOOLING AS ANSWERS INCLUDED.
