2 HOUR lesson all about knife crime, who is particularly vulnerable to become involved and why and the measures the UK is taking to keep young people safe. Students will investigate the link with wider gang violence and influence, and the pressure put on gang members to commit illegal activities. They will also examine the consequences of such illega, on victims and perpetrators as well as the lasting effect on families and communities. They will explore personal stories from those who turned their lives around, but still live with many regrets of ever getting involved in the first place.
This has been created to best suit KS3 but is suitable for KS4 too and is entirely editable. It covers the DfE and PSHE Association guidance for 2020-24 and will last you two hours.
Activities are scaffolded, there is a detailed and colourful PowerPoint, clip tasks, partnered tasks, active tasks, worksheets, literacy tasks, information pack, signposting to further help agencies and charities, clear outcomes and also progress measurers. Includes optional assessment sheet.

A one hour religious education lesson on Christianity, Islam and sex before marriage. This was used for GCSE RS Thematic Studies AQA (9-1) Theme A (but is editable for other exam boards or KS3). It is fully adaptable and includes essay preparation, quote analysis tasks, a variety of activities, a 12 mark and a 5 mark practice question, clips and questions and is fully differentiated (to three levels throughout).
This pack includes a PowerPoint, worksheets, clips, all well differentiated. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow. All our resources are editable (so easy to adapt for your classes).

TWO HOURS - Stalking, harassment and the law PSHE lesson. A new 2024 lesson focusing on what stalking and harassment are, how they are legally defined, how we know if we are being stalked or harassed and what can legally be done about it.
Students will investigate real life cases of stalking that have ended up with the perpetrators serving custodial sentences. They will analyse whether UK law is tough enough in these cases, or whether it needs re-evaluating. Students will explore the effects on the victims lives, how they have been impacted in the short and long-term and the different ways a person may be stalked or harassed - so students are able to recognise this. Students will investigate the main causes of homelessness in the UK, hear the issues from people in their own words and discover some unusual solutions to the issue. They will also explore why the numbers of homeless people are increasing in recent years, the hurdles people face to in trying find accommodation and how many find themselves homeless to begin with.

It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete.
The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained. A 20 page activity pack for Tutor Time that can be given to students to get on with independently. This is great for when you have a bit of form admin to do and you just need your tutor group to get on with productive tasks quietly for a while.

**Fast fashion - how are our clothing choices affecting the environment? **
A detailed, editable 1 hour lesson all about the fast fashion industry and the reasons why we need to consume and dispose of clothing responsibly.
Created to fit an ‘adaptive teaching style’ the lesson is influenced by Rosenshine’s principles of instruction, and promotes both cognitive and metacognitive strategies.
In this lesson, the students will discuss the global impact of the fast fashion industry and identify examples of sustainable and unstainable clothing materials.
We will describe the environmental impact of our consumption of low-cost fashion and find out what happens to our donated and unwanted clothing.
The lesson is ideally suited to students in UKS2 or younger students in KS3.

**Same but different KS1 Diversity PSHE lesson. **
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, with some small alterations the contents may also suit younger KS1 students (Year 1).
In this lesson, the students will be discussing diversity and what it means to be unique. We will look at a variety of ways that we can be the same as, and different to others. We will also discuss the reasons why it’s good to be different, and how beneath the surface we often find similarities with people who may initially seem to be very different from ourselves.
The lesson includes a starter activity, a video clip with questions, a main activity that features Karl Newson’s story ‘The Same but Different Too’, and a ‘find someone who’ plenary task.

All About Me - EYFS PSHE lesson.
Created with a view to being delivered early on in the new school year, this fully resourced lesson is a perfect introduction to the PSHE curriculum and should serve as a helpful resource to settle children into a new environment. Whilst the lesson has been created with Reception in mind, the activities could be adapted for use with children in adjacent year groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn about their likes, dislikes, and the things that make us special and different from everyone else. We will listen to Super Duper You by Sophy Henn, before completing activities linked to the text.
The lesson includes a sing-along starter (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a story focus with discussion prompts, an adult-led focus task, independent activities to be carried out during continuous provision, and a plenary task.
