Textiles Doll Project Resources
This editable powerpoint inlcudes a series of resources for the beginning of a project on Textile Dolls in KS2/KS3 Design and Technology.
Included are resources for analysing an existing product using ACCESSFM, re-designing products to meet a new target market’s needs as well as a resource to write a Design Specification for students own products.
Resources are suitable for mixed ability groups as there is some differentiation provided.
This powerpoint can be edited to suit a different project within Design and Technology easily, as the design process and structure of the tasks are relevant to most projects.

Retrieval Practice Relay Race: Natural and Manufactured Timbers
PDF template for a learning relay race on the topic of Natural and Manufactured Timber. Aim of the task is to quickly get students to retrieve prior learning on the topic. One student starts by writing all the information they can about the topic. After a set time, they must pass the worksheet to the next student and they must add more information that the previous student did not write down and so on.

Observational Object Drawing Formative Assessment Templates
Selection of formative assessment templates ready to print. Ideal for stapling to work or making stickers. I find these a quick way to provide formative feedback to students on their home/class work. Pre-made success criteria can be highlighted to save time on writing.
Template 1 includes a teacher marking slip with pre-written success criteria and a rag chart that can be highlighted against the student work. includes teacher comment and student response section.
Template 2 provided the success criteria and rag chart without the comment sections.
Template 3 provides a variation on the layout and size of template 1.
Template 4 includes printable slips for peer-marking with success criteria and rag chart as well as a section for peer to write their own EBI.
Template 5 is similar to template 4 however, is set up as a self-marking slip.
Teacher Feedback/Student Response Slips
4 variations on teacher feedback slips ready for printing.
Template one provides a small thumbnail teacher feedback slip with www and ebi headings along with a student response section.
Template 2 is a longer portrait slip providing a blank teacher feedback and student response section.
Template 3 is similar to template 2, with smiley faces that can be circled by the teacher to indicate if student has met the success criteria for the task.
Template 4 is a A5 template, including a section to write learning outcomes and RAG if these have been met or not. Along with a blank teacher comment and student response section.
I find these useful for stapling into work that I don’t want to write directly on.
These could additionally be printed as stickers to stick onto student work.
