An extended powerpoint that includes a large range of activities all to do with exploring the problem of the fashion industry, based around the recent BBC documentary ‘Fashion’s Dirty Secrets’. Activities can be taken from it to make 1-2 lessons, or if watching the documentary, it could be used as a mini scheme of work. The first activity is based on the BBC’s recent documentary ‘Drowning in plastic’. The other activities are based on reading and analysing text, persuasive writing, plotting plastic waste on a map, drawing a bar chart of biodegrade times, and role plays and creative activities to do with designing new purposes for plastic bottles.
