Maths booklet for revision. Maths crosswords as an ext. Children enjoyed the crosswords. Maths booklet is aimed at year 2 but could be used for LA year 3 or Ha year 1. Word document is just for a preview. I promise that the Publisher document is more colourful and appealing! on the publisher crosswords there are 8 in the 2 files.

I used this with my Year 1 LA English set. The display pack has question mark and full stop cards that they held up to show if they thought it was a question or a statement. We talked through the questions and statements and ten used the worksheet to tick question or statement. then the children wrote their own questions for a pirate visitor.

With a winter story theme this is a 4 day plan and activities for the Dinosaur that pooped Christmas. I have looked at the character of the dinosaur, compared it to the dinosaur that pooped a planet. There is a planning sheet and a mock book cover for a new story called the dinosaur that pooped winter. the children must plan and then write the story. There is a smaller book cover for the children to stick in their book when they write their own story.

I used this for a week of sentences for a year 1 LA set. This has the week plan, smart notebooks and book pictures. This was for an Africa topic and we used it to compare it to Little Red Riding hood. This was a great story that the children enjoyed and liked to write about.

This is a great start to EAL intervention. There are some display items to be laminated and are easily edited to keep your display relevant. This is topics for the week, relevant words, weather and today, yesterday and tomorrow to work on days of the week. Also there are 98 flashcards of essential words and pictures for recognition, sorting and talking points for EAL learners. For all of the flashcards there are assessment grids for books or can be kept as a pack. They can then be ticked and dated when the child can say the words.

Then a today is, yesterday was and tomorrow will be section. The children fill them in each day. Then there are 2 words of the week parts to keep the display easy to edit and keep relevant. Also 2 what we are working on so that you can write what it is that you are working on.

This set is the first set that I use in intervention to get the basics. This set includes colours, some animals, food (healthy and unhealthy), emotions and items around school (uniform, classroom furniture and equipment) and weather. The assessment grids were used to tick and date when they could say the words in English.
